The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake
Burton Marine built a concrete boat moorage facility of 165 slips for our project, The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake. Prior to awarding the contract to them, Steve gave me a tour of several other boat slip facilities and highlighted the advantages of going with an all-concrete facility. The advantages were obvious: longevity, low maintenance, stable walking surface, etc. I felt these advantages outweighed the extra cost vs wood.
The boat slips were built and installed by Burton in three phases from 2013 to 2016. Burton delivered on time, on budget, and we are very happy with the quality. The facility looks and feels great and fits the image we try to create at The Cottages.

Wood Lake Villas
Burton Marine recently completed a 22 slip Marina for our owners and I wanted to provide a review of our experience.
From the outset of the project, Burton was actively involved. Mike, Nick and Kevin were all involved in helping to come up with a concept and design for our Marina. They all provided good insight and opinions to maximize the design in our allowed space. Mike also provided the names of some consultants for us to engage to help us with environmental studies and ultimately the approvals process with the various levels of government.
Once we had our approvals in place, Burton was very quick to begin construction. The team they had construct the Marina was professional, hard working and polite. The quality of work provided was top notch and the finished product is exceptional. Burton has a high attention to detail and they do not cut corners during the construction process. Mike and Kevin are attentive and organized during construction and they completed the project on time and on budget.
I would highly recommend Burton Marine and Pile Driving. They were actively involved during the 3 years process to get our Marina built and we could not have done it without them. If you are considering completing a project or need help to get started you should engage Burton to ensure your project gets completed and that you have a Marina or Dock that you can enjoy worry free for many years.
